Madrid, 14th February 2013
HHConference 2013 (EN, ES) (Madrid, 14th February 2013) is a joint final conference of the GIS HLanData and Habitats Projects. The projects focus on harmonization according to INSPIRE in different themes (Land Use, Land Cover and Habitats) and they are supported by the European Commission under the CIP Programme.
The programme of the HHConference 2013 – Public Data & Social Empowerment for a sustainable growth, hosted by the National Geographical Institute of Spain (Instituto Geográfico Nacional – IGN), includes representatives from both projects as well as other experts in the field. At the conference the results of the two projects were presented, as well as other initiatives.
Presentations of the conference are already available.
This is the second public event organised jointly by HLanData and Habitats. In September 2011 the teams of the two projects organised a seminar in Brussels at the Committee of the Regions on Land Use, Land Cover and Habitats issues in terms of INSPIRE - Challenges for a sustainable development in Europe.
